In February 2023, Tiffany’s African Brilliance Collective and Women and Allies Employee Resource Groups embarked on a six-month mentorship program with The Lower Eastside Girls Club, extending their partnership for a third time. This program is part of Tiffany Atrium’s Community pillar, which is focused on connecting employees, students and nonprofit leaders to grow and celebrate shared values.
A New York-based nonprofit, The Lower Eastside Girls Club amplifies the inner power of young women and gender-expansive youth in New York City with free arts, science, leadership, entrepreneurship and wellness programs. A group of employees and industry leaders from Tiffany & Co. provide ongoing mentorship and connection to girls in high school and college under The Lower Eastside Girls Club’s mission of “Joy. Power. Possibility.”
This partnership aligns with Tiffany Atrium’s commitment to creating equitable access to careers in the luxury sector, as demonstrated by The Lower Eastside Girls Club summer 2022 mentee, Sarah Bell, who joined Tiffany & Co. as a Talent Acquisition intern. “Being in the workplace as a rising sophomore in college, I’ve learned a lot about myself and navigating my organisational skills that I will be able to take with me and attribute to my time at Tiffany,” she said.
